Salary: £37,500 + 15% bonus (based on KPI performance)

Working: Full time, 5 days across 7 (flexibility to work additional hours around events is required)

Location: Situ Live Venue, Westfield, White City, London

Reports to: Venue director

Who are we and what do we do?

SITU LIVE is a new immersive shopping experience where products are bought to life in a unique and inspiring way. We launched at Westfield, London in October 2021. We are the home of innovation where the very best and latest products are showcased in life-like theatre sets and where live demonstrations take place to show how products work before consumers then QR scan them to buy.

At SITU LIVE we have a fully kitted-out kitchen, functional gym, and live stage, where we host a variety of events and activations – from cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs to exclusive product launches.

Overall purpose of this role:

This is a truly unique role where your new business experience will be utilised to approach high profile clients, along your events management experience which will be utilised to run and deliver exciting events in our venue. We are looking for an energetic self-starter to approach new and existing high-profile clients to offer an event service which will promote their products and the venue. The purpose of these events is to offer customers new experiences and drive incremental footfall into our physical venue.

What this role entails:

  • You will lead the event ideation process that will secure new partnerships and grow existing partners
  • Work with existing clients to understanding the opportunities to host exciting events in the Situ Venue
  • This role will involve approach new clients to understand the opportunities to host one of and ongoing events to help promote their brand and the venue
  • Combine creativity and innovation with your event ideas and proposals
  • Responsibility for creating the full plan of event execution including proposal of budgets, timelines, set up and staff requirements
  • Event summary and analysis will be required to report back on event success, learnings and further opportunities
  • Generating interest through a variety of channels
  • Identify event and activation tactics that will attract a local audience to SITU LIVE at Westfield London
  • Work closely with the Westfield management team to secure a series of event or activation collaborations that will drive footfall into SITU LIVE
  • Support in the pre-promotion of events through key paid and unpaid social channels
  • Utilise in house social media team to promote
  • Working in the SituLive venue in Westfield White City London, you will be keen to build relationships with all venue staff and generate excitement amongst our venue team
  • Deliver against agreed objectives and KPIs

Your experience to date will include:

  • Success within a new business role, ideally within the events sector or similar face paced/high energy sector is essential
  • Similar experience within a stand alone Events Management/New Business role
  • Proven track record of identifying and securing brand partnerships, media, or publication partners
  • A solid background in events with experience managing the full event cycle from concept to execution (agency side is preferable but not essential)
  • Experience hosting experiential events
  • An understanding of how to pre and post promote events through social channels
  • Experience and familiarity with tech, tech products and the tech world would be extremely advantageous

  • A passion for presenting an event service to new and existing clients
  • Strong partner marketing credentials: outreach, negotiation and account management
  • A strong commercial acumen along with a creative mindset
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills both internally and externally
  • Production experience for small scale events is an advantage
  • Experience in communicating and influencing external partners
